This past summer the electric protege past the nine year mark. I have removed three cells and the battery pack is now at 42 cells (134volts nominal). I have decided to sell the car with some life still remaining in the batteries. My initial investment in the conversion had exceeded $25K with the LiFePO4 batteries being the bulk of the expense (~$10K US). Looking back, this project was worthwhile and also exceeded my expectations. Now it is time to find a new home for the e-Protege as a whole or it's components. It is officially for sale at $3500 canadian. It comes with all receipts, documentation, schematics, spare parts etc.
